Once inside, you'll need to make your way through a series of rooms, bashing your way through webbing every once in a while, until you come to the side of a large column which lowers and raises. There's a Vortigaunt in here, but he cam be dispatched with ease, and the healing pool take care of any damage you've taken.
Rather than wasting your time trying to kill every single alien hanging around, loop around to the backside of the big floating island and find a cavern that takes you down inside. This next area can really suck if you're low on health or ammo.
